Also, the tech heavy NASDAQ 100 is up almost 21% this year, and winning in 7/8 past weeks. Stock of The Week: CrowdStrike $CRWD ( ▲ 3.39% )

The market has loved infrastructure and bottlenecks over the past 12 months. One of these bottlenecks that it hated January through March, has now become it’s favorite in April and May…that being Cybersecurity. Claude had the market convinced it was going to make names like CrowdStrike and Palo Alto obsolete, and then overnight, the narrative shifted. The market thought CrowdStrike was dead, and then suddenly a light bulb turned on…what if Ai actually makes the companies more valuable because with increased Ai use, comes increased cybersecurity usage and risk?

If your whole life isn’t already inside of the Cloud, just give it another decade and let us know if you’ve successfully still been able to hold out. Point being, as our lives become overly digital it becomes overly important to keep our private information protected. That is what CrowdStrike does. They specialize in preventing cyberattacks that protects data and identities. The major selloff came for two reasons, one, the overall software selloff that Ai would replace all of software, but two, and more CrowdStrike specific, the Claude Mythos Security release that started a huge uprising that Anthropic would be able to replace CrowdStrike. As we have said many times now, and for those patient investors who also had the same conviction it has paid off well, that software isn’t dead. Shares of $CRWD ( ▲ 3.39% ) were up over 90% in the months of April and May. The major shift in sentiment is exactly what we were talking about this entire time. These companies themselves will continue to adapt, and they are massively integrated into the corporate environment.

Just for fun let’s rattle off a few of the notable names that are on CrowdStrike’s customer list: Amazon, Nvidia, Microsoft, Oracle, Goldman Sachs, MIT, & U.S. Government. CrowdStrike protects nearly 60% of all Fortune 500 companies. What’s arguably most beautiful about CrowdStrike is one simple stat that is very hard to overlook. They have a 97% retention rate year over year for the subscribing customers. CrowdStrike continues to post outstanding revenue growth quarter after quarter, and since 2022 has seen annual revenue over double from $1.45b in ‘22 to $4.81b in ‘26. This is a company that is still rather young and early on in its lifecycle, being founded just 15 years ago. The company is continuing to make heavy investments back into themselves and the business, heavily focused on continued and future growth. This is a space that has massive long term potential as we continue to store more and more data in the cloud and it becomes more and more important to keep that data protected. A business model built on an ARR structure (Annual Recurring Revenue) in a space that will continue to see more competition no doubt, but CrowdStrike has clearly already established key relationships with some of the biggest players in the world and they look to continue to benefit from the tailwinds over the next decade.

Chart of The Week: Fed’s Composite U.S. Consumer Confidence - Lowest On Record

Despite the growth we have seen in both the stock market and the U.S. economy - American consumer confidence is lower than ever… Lower than the Great Financial Crisis, Covid, & the 1970s era of double digit unemployment and double digit inflation. The current record low consumer confidence is attributed to shifting labor markets, persistent price shocks, and global conflicts.

Iran has threatened to again fully block the Strait of Hormuz and stop diplomatic progress with the U.S. , citing ongoing ceasefire violations and Israel’s escalating military operations in Lebanon. This has sent oil surging. President Trump has reassured that “Iran really wants to make a deal, and it will be a good one for the U.S.A. and those that are with us.”

Anthropic Just Filed for Its IPO - & Now It’s a 3-Way Race With SpaceX & OpenAi for the Biggest Listing in History

Anthropic submitted paperwork to the SEC and to potentially go public around October 2026. As of May 2026, they have an estimated $45 billion in annualized revenue and their valuation is nearly $1 Trillion, making them the most valuable private AI company with a more reasonable 21x projected market cap to annualized revenue ratio. Currently, Kraneshares Public Private Ai and Technology ETF (AGIX) provides direct exposure to Anthropic.

SpaceX is aiming to list its shares on the NASDAQ under the ticker (SPCX) as early as June 12 and plans to launch its roadshow on June 4, with a share sale as soon as June 11. There is also potential for fast entry into the NASDAQ 100 as early as July 7.

SpaceX is looking to raise $75 billion and targeting a valuation of about $1.8T trillion, with just $18.7 billion in revenue in 2025 and a net loss of nearly $5 billion, mostly due to costs of AI operations. This marks a projected market cap 94x annual revenue. Below is a comparison of similarly sized publicly traded companies.

World Cup Arrives in 10 Days to North America. The $30 Billion Windfall Might Not.

Pictured is Messi and Argentina hosting the 2022 World Cup

Over the weekend Paris Saint Germain won the UEFA Champions League Final, the world’s biggest club soccer event, beating Arsenal in a stunning penalties finish. PSG fans flooded flooded Parisian streets in celebration unlike ever before with more to come during this upcoming World Cup in North America. Currently, Spain and France are the favorites for a showdown in the final with the USMNT having 1% odds of winning the World Cup final. Most importantly, we have 99% certainty that the world’s biggest sporting event will have an economic impact on the U.S. with official projections expecting a $17-$30 billion boost with about 185,000 jobs created. Some experts are skeptical though, as hotel bookings are below expectations, as international tourism to the U.S. has cooled, and tickets are averaging to be roughly 3x higher than in Qatar 2022. Regardless, this World Cup will certainly showcase the best talent in the world and some of the best soccer… or futbol… we have ever seen!
